The College of Engineering, Chengannur is a premier Engineering Institute located at Chengannur, Kerala. With undergraduate courses leading to B.Tech Degrees from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, CEC, as it is popularly known is a highly acclaimed technology training centre. Renowned for its highly active student community and for commendable achievements in various fields, CEC is one of the better equipped colleges to bring out efficient and capable engineers.

The IEEE Student Branch (60451) of College of Engineering Chengannur came into existence on 16th September 1996. Since its inception, the branch has grown from strength to strength becoming the largest in Kerala Section and one of the most active in the entire Asia Pacific Region.IEEE CEC student branch has been consistently trying to spread the spirits of engineering and innovation coupled with dynamism and intellect.
