Ever wanted to know what is happening the IEEE student branch of College of Engineering Chengannur? Now you can. Just tune in to our blogs for updates from the SB.
Hi all,
.
Here’s a feedback IEEE CEC got on All Kerala WIE Forum 09 conducted by our SB from 2nd October to 4th October, 2009. The event was a grand success, and documents and reports follow in proof of this. Congrats to all the volunteers!
.
[The following is a feedback of the event from Mr. Prijoe Philips Komattu, LINK Founder and Larry K Wilson Award Winner. Abstract from a mail he sent to IEEEKerala_students Yahoo Group]
.
I specially wanted to congratulate the CEC team as well the delegates to make this event a grant success. I am writing a very lengthy mail as follows… and everything comes deep from my heart.
.
It is 3 year since I have left Kerala, and not very much active in LINK. On the other part of the coin, LINK had never turned back to check out where I am till last 2 years… before GINI came into picture. But today when it is coming to 3 years, I should say, I am one of the most happiest person in LINK today. To come back to LINK program, and that too for such a wonderful program, my special thanks for LINK and CEC team.
.
The event was incredible and magnanimous. I am still not out of its impact. I just loved being there for this event. The beauty of the event was, everyone would have felt the same. There were many student delegates telling me that they have never attended a event like this before, they have never enjoyed like this at an IEEE event before, and they felt as one single team and felt a lot of team spirit from this event.
.
I heard the impact to the student delegates were so much that none, wanted to leave after the valedictory function after 2 ½ days, and organizers had to push them out, to leave the college premises on time. Something, I have only seen in Region 10 Congress and other international events. From this, I feel our event has touched all international standards (I have seen till now). The bonding and networking among the student delegates was awesome. I have never seen a similar event before in my life in IEEE Kerala Section (during the time, when I was present), with such huge impact and team bonding.
.
C.V.Anilkumar Sir, compared the event to be better than any other LINK meetings, or outings, and would have been the very best since couple of years since, he is into LINK. He also affirmed that all the attendees would be long time IEEE volunteers for sure, because of the class of the event. Which I also feel it is very much true. I could find the burning desire in many. The proper guidance and mentoring would help them achieve great heights in life.
.
I take this opportunity to congratulate a lot of people behind the show. Mr. C.V.AnilKumar Sir, who was behind the show from starting day, till the very end of the 2 ½ day event. Special Congrats CEC and LINK Team, and Special Mention to Ms Lintu ( person from CEC who initially worked ahead for this event to a reality) and Ms Pratibha (who actually worked day and night for this event to a reality) and Mr Ajin (the person who ran behind the show) and all the volunteers of the Murder Game – Pranoy, Both Rahuls, Das, Basket ball Lady, Indhu, and many more (sorry for not remembering the names).
